Jodie has been in the business branding, marketing, and community leadership game for close to 20 years.

After spending more than ten years in corporate life as the marketing leader for a medium sized cable operator where she was killing it—growing sales, earning respect and becoming a leader in her local community- and with three small children and a husband with his own business at home, things had fallen out of balance and she knew a change was needed. She was tired, stressed and struggling to find the joy in life. As those closest to her put it, “fun Jodie” was gone. She needed to find that joy again without losing the financial stability her career had afforded.

In 2012, Jodie left her position and JMG Marketing was born. With JMG, she could achieve her dreams of serving the marketing needs of Lakes Region businesses and growing her husband’s business while being more present in her personal life. Since then, Jodie has worked with more than 300 businesses.

Six years later, Jodie was empowered to begin working with a business coach and experienced firsthand, the gift that coaching and mentorship afforded her in running her business. In exploring ways to continue to more fully support her clients, Jodie began offering business coaching and mentorship as an extension of JMG Marketing, helping her clients think beyond just the advertising.

Jodie’s passion is to help business owners achieve their dreams, whatever they may be, and grow their business. Nothing makes her tick like seeing a business succeed. Today, JMG has expanded to offer business coaching through one on one and group support as well as live and web hosted events.

Jodie is achieving her dreams by helping other business owners achieve theirs.

Outside the business world, Jodie is in the depths of raising three busy children with her beloved best friend, business partner, and husband, Matt since 2000. They live in the Lakes Region and enjoy summering in Wells, Maine.

Liane has been in the marketing and public relations field for over 15 years.

Shortly after finishing college, Liane, a lifelong Maine-ah moved to NH in 2003 to sell radio advertising.  It was a short stint (sales was not her thing), HOWEVER it gave her valuable, real-world experience in knowing how to most effectively get a business noticed.

Liane then took her skills, personality and education to the local cable company where she scored her first true marketing gig working alongside Jodie (see above).

For seven years, Liane helped promote its services to both residential and business customers, launch new products, create marketing plans, work closely with the community and provide needed support as the company grew from serving areas in two states, to seven.  

After working the corporate grind, Liane left to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond as the Marketing Director for the local, well-known music venue, where she fell in love with seeing a sold out crowd having the time of their lives and helped support the growth of the venue from approximately 6,000 seats to close to 10,000.  Two years later, with a husband and two-month-old daughter, it was time for something with less crazy hours and a lot less sexy…healthcare.

She joined the marketing and public relations team of the local healthcare system with primary responsibilities in writing and marketing strategy rising to the challenges of promoting multiple service lines and continuously working to help foster a positive public perception.  Five years in, the opportunity to work with Jodie again popped up and Liane could not resist.

Today, Liane is psyched to be working with Jodie again and helping her achieve her dreams, by helping small businesses achieve theirs.

When not killing it for JMG’s clients, Liane can be found both happy and exhausted spending time with her husband and two small children.
